Calvary will be hosting the 93rd Annual Session of the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention (AZSBC) on November 12th, 2021. This event will feature the annual business meeting on Friday, November 12th, but will also have a day of recreation designed to ‘Restore your Soul’ on Thursday, November 11th.

The annual meeting will be Friday, November 12th. The pre-conference recreation day and night of worship will be Thursday, November 11th.

The annual meeting will be hosted at Calvary Baptist Church’s Sweetwater Campus at 3100 Sweetwater Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406
BUSINESS MEETING + PASTORS CONFERENCE
The day will be presented in two parts: A morning pastors conference, and an afternoon business session and worship.
Morning Session:
Morning Pastors Conference featuring Chris Brown, senior pastor of North Coast Church in Vista, California & Ben Mandrell, Lifeway Christian Resources president and CEO
Afternoon Session:
Afternoon Business Session & Worship, including message by Chad Garrison, lead pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Lake Havasu City.
OPTIONAL GETAWAY DAY FOR ATTENDEES
An optional getaway day will be hosted and provided by Calvary Baptist Church for pastors and leaders attending the business meeting. Attendees will be able choose from various outdoor recreation options designed to help refresh and rejuvenate pastors and leaders. Attendees must sign up in advance for these activities. The cost of these events will be covered by Calvary, but space is limited for the activities.
After a morning of activities, join the rest of the attendees that evening for dinner and an evening of worship with featured speaker Chris Brown.
Available Activities:
Boating
Come spend the day on the water and tour Lake Havasu. Boats and refreshments will be provided.

Hiking
Experience our scenic desert landscape with a guided moderate-difficulty hike.
Time: 8am - 2pm (approximate)
What to bring: Water (1-2 liters) and good sturdy hiking or athletic shoes.

Golf
Enjoy 18 holes of golf in a tournament style morning at the scenic Emerald Canyon Golf Course.

Shooting
Join retired law enforcement officers and Calvary’s security team leaders for a morning of shooting. All skill levels welcome with coaching available.
Time: 10:30am
To bring: Weapon, ammunition, and ear protection. If not able to bring it, rental gear is available.

Desert Off-Roading
Join a group of Calvary Off-Road enthusiasts in Side By Sides for a tour of our vast desert trail system. Vehicles will provided to ride along in, or attendees can bring their own Rzr, Can-Am, etc.

For Pastor’s Wives: Spa Day
We invite pastors wives to enjoy a morning of pampering with a Mani-Pedi day at ‘Perfect Nail’ in Havasu. Cost is covered by Calvary and appointments are available between 9a and 1p.

PRE-CONFERNCE LODGING
Those attending the day of recreation have the option of having a hotel room provided by Calvary. You will need to select this option during registration to ensure a room is reserved in your name.
