uninvited - lysa terkeurst

Rejection often finds its way into our hearts at an early age. Perhaps as a child you were teased mercilessly for your hair or clothes, or you received an injury and couldn't play the sport you loved and had to watch from the sidelines, or maybe like Lysa TerKeurst, an adult who should have cared for you and nurtured you, left without explanation. These wounds dig deep into our sense of self, and can resurface in surprising ways as an adult. However, this doesn't have to be the end of the story.  You can change your tendencies to either fall apart or control the actions of others by adopting healthy ways to process your hurt. DVD driven with book and workbook, small group discussion.  $20.00 Group Meets: 9/13-11/7. $20.00 (Payment for online sign up:  place payment in offering envelops clearly marked Women's Bible Study, drop envelop in offering boxes)

divine design – chip ingram

God has a dream for your life. He didn't save you just so He could take you to heaven. He has an assignment for you here on earth. He blessed you with spiritual gifts so you could live a life of impact. But until you know how to recognize and use your gifts, you will never experience all that God wants you to experience. Chip Ingram explores passages from Romans, Ephesians, and 1 Corinthians to understand the role of spiritual gifts. In the process, you'll be invited to pinpoint your own primary spiritual gift and then learn a Biblical process to develop, and deploy your gift for greater ministry and significant impact.
